
On June 17th, every year, the family goes through a private ritual: "we photograph ourselves to stop a fleeting moment, the arrow of time passing by."

I love looking at this family change over time. Tim and I have to do this.

It reminds me of the work by Mitch Syrop where he used high school year books and made this enormous matrix based on some pre-determined (by him) criteria for resemblance. He used to show at one of those bergamot galleries on the northeast side.
The portraits also have that chuck close feel. I wonder if people know how influenced by art they are, without realizing it!
